Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems Canada is seeking an experienced Technical Sales leader to drive international TacCIS initiatives. You will promote and sell Tactical Communications and Information Systems globally, providing technical credibility in complex customer conversations.

Collaborate with BD, product, and engineering teams; deliver demos, support proposals, and travel for customer sites and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong grasp of defense technologies, networking or Tactical Communications.
• Experience in B2B technical sales.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders (Engineering, BD, etc.).
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Experience with AI/ML models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical subject matter expert to the Business Development team with industry insights.
• Collaborate with End Users/Customers/Partners to capture technical requirements; align needs with solutions.
• Design and deliver product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept.
• Support proposals and pricing models in partnership with product and pricing teams.
• Work closely with product management, engineering, BD, and partners to ensure feasible solutions.
• Post-sale escalation point for technical issues; drive upsell opportunities.
• Capture competitor activity and emerging technologies; feed insights to product teams.
