Job summary

Asana is seeking a data-driven Head of Global SEO/AEO to own our worldwide organic growth strategy and execution. You will scale SEO and AEO into high-performing channels while guiding an in-house team and external partners.

The role is based in San Francisco or Vancouver with a hybrid schedule; in-office days are Mon, Tue, Thu, with some WFH on other days. You will report to senior leadership and shape our AI-mediated discovery approach.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SEO with senior team leadership in B2B SaaS.
• Experience owning organic across PLG and SLG motions with targets like trial starts and MQLs.
• Hands-on experience building an AEO strategy and measuring outcomes in AI-enabled search environments.

Responsibilities

• Set the global SEO/AEO strategy and roadmap, driving growth across PLG & SLG motions.
• Lead end-to-end AEO strategy, defining measurement for brand visibility in AI answer engines.
• Direct SEO content roadmap and agent-led content strategies to match intent and beat competitors.
• Build attribution and measurement infrastructure linking organic activity to conversions.
• Lead a high-performing SEO/AEO team, deciding on agency partnerships and deployment.
