Job summary

The role oversees the entire software lifecycle, ensuring EMV/PCI compliance, collaborating with product, QA, compliance and operations, and advancing CI/CD, security, and scalable architectures in an in-office environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading technical teams within payment, POS, embedded, or related technology environments.
• Demonstrated success delivering secure, compliant payment solutions with expertise in EMV, PCI, contactless, and mobile payment technologies.
• Strong background in embedded software, Linux, cloud platforms, and integrated payment system architectures.
• Hands-on knowledge of secure software development, encryption, cryptographic key management, and payment certification processes.
• Proven leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical teams and stakeholders.
• Capable of managing multiple initiatives and competing priorities in a fast-paced, global organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead global engineering teams in the design, development, and delivery of payment solutions, including POS systems, payment terminals, card readers, and contactless technologies.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and development through testing, certification, deployment, and ongoing product support.
• Enhance payment platforms by driving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with EMV, PCI-SSF, and other industry standards.
• Partner with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Compliance, and Operations to deliver secure, scalable, and regulatory-compliant payment solutions.
• Champion engineering excellence by implementing best practices for software quality, CI/CD, performance optimization, and application security.
