Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Banking/Financial Services tech experience.
• Extensive experience in solution architecture & design.
• Hands-on knowledge of Canadian payments domains (RTR, Lynx, Interac, EFT, Wire).
• Strong understanding of ISO 20022 and related payments standards.
• Ability to guide backlogs and architecture roadmaps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain solution architectures aligned with enterprise principles and standards.
• Provide technical direction across payments, corporate channels, and liquidity domains.
• Identify systems, interfaces, and non-functional requirements; adapt designs as needed.
• Assist product managers in shaping tech backlogs and architectural runways.
• Translate regulatory mandates into clear business and dev requirements.
• Collaborate with business, technology, compliance, and operations teams to resolve delivery impediments.
