Job summary

Hatch is seeking a 16-month Mechanical / Piping Engineering Student, starting May 2027, with interest in Mechanical & Piping engineering in our Project Delivery Group. Reporting to the Mechanical discipline lead Engineer, you will support projects globally working from our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan office located with opportunities in other Hatch offices and at project job sites.

Qualifications

• 3rd or 4th year Mechanical Engineering student
• Co-op or work experience in mechanical engineering is an asset
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) desired
• Familiarity with mechanical/piping design tools and regional codes is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical and piping design deliverables for various projects
• Support detailed design and deliverables
• Learn Hatch quality procedures and project delivery processes
• Collaborate with senior engineers and designers across multi-discipline teams
• Participate in site inspections and design reviews
