Job summary

Global Cargo Connection in Mississauga is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to supervise daily logistics, lead a team, and maintain strong relations with local and overseas clients.

You will plan operations, monitor performance, negotiate freight rates, oversee quotations and billing, resolve shipment issues, and ensure timely, compliant cross-border shipments while keeping customers and vendors well informed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logistics/transportation operations.
• Leadership experience in a team setting.
• Familiar with CBSA, Canada Customs procedures, and cross-border shipments.
• Ability to communicate with overseas agents and clients.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving.
• Diploma/degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily operations.
