Job summary

Bank of Montreal seeks a liquidity and funding risk professional to support enterprise-wide risk management, measurement, and reporting. The role collaborates with business units to optimize funding, assess risk, and drive strategic initiatives aligned to regulatory expectations.

You will develop models, monitor stress testing, and provide analytical insights to senior leadership. A post-secondary degree in a related field is required, with 5–7 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the build, management, and execution of an enterprise-wide liquidity and funding management framework.
• Advises on liquidity and funding risk mitigation, product development, and optimization.
• Develops and maintains the model and assumption framework used to measure liquidity and funding risk.
• Monitors liquidity stress testing processes and supports reporting and risk appetite.
• Acts as liaison with regulators and stakeholders to align agendas and reporting.
