Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking a Manager of Internal Controls in Bolton, ON to lead the design, implementation and remediation of internal controls over financial reporting, including a global SOX program. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from external audit, internal audit, and/or technical accounting.
• SOX compliance and manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Strong internal controls and technical accounting skills under US GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work with complex financial and consolidation systems.
• Proactive, motivated, and focused on continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders as a subject matter expert on internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Coordinate with global control owners to standardize SOX controls across the company.
• Own execution of controls and ensure no control deficiencies arise.
• Recommend and lead improvements in business processes and internal controls.
• Support process owners and IT to update process and system documentation.
• Develop best practices across the organization and support finance projects as needed.
• Communicate concerns promptly to relevant committees and ensure timely user access reviews.
