Job summary

CIBC, a leading Canadian bank, is seeking a Director, Human Resources Regulatory Compliance Management in Toronto. You will oversee a global HR regulatory compliance program, monitor changes affecting employment law, and support audits and reporting.

A hybrid work arrangement is offered with 1–3 days on-site weekly. You will build cross-functional relationships with HR, Legal and Compliance to ensure risk-aware HR practices, governance, and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead regulatory oversight of HR compliance programs.
• Experience coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR regulatory compliance management function and oversee the Oversight Function Lead.
• Develop and oversee global monitoring programs to identify regulatory changes affecting employment law.
• Ensure timely completion of Employment Equity reporting and other HR compliance deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Legal, Compliance and business leaders.
• Support audits, attestations, and governance activities.
• Coach and develop a high-performing team.
