Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Director, Human Resources Regulatory Compliance Management to lead a specialized HR compliance team. You will monitor global employment regulation changes, ensure timely regulatory reporting, and partner with Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to maintain robust controls and governance.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong stakeholder influence, and the ability to drive risk-aware HR practices across the enterprise. Hybrid work with on-site 1–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading regulatory oversight in HR or related functions.
• Track record in monitoring employment legislation and reporting obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR regulatory compliance management function and Oversight Function Lead for HR.
• Develop and oversee global regulatory monitoring programs and assess impacts.
• Oversee timely completion of Employment Equity and HR compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Compliance and business leaders for regulator submissions.
• Manage responses to regulatory audits and attestations.
• Coach and develop a high-performing HR compliance team.
