Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Canada is seeking a Freight Forwarding Project Specialist to process import/export shipments with high accuracy, focusing on oversized and cross-trade cargo in collaboration with the customer service group.

The role requires coordinating documentation, export formalities, tracking shipments, and maintaining relationships with overseas partners and clients to ensure operational excellence and productivity.

Qualifications

• Education in supply chain logistics or related field.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of industry experience.
• Experience with all transport modes; oversized shipments.
• CIFFA certificate is an asset.
• Project experience is an asset.
• Dangerous Goods Certification is an asset.
• Energy sector and industrial project experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, check, and monitor project freight documentation in CW1.
• Assist vendors with export formalities (AES, B13) per guidelines.
• Track and trace air, sea, and trucking shipments; update systems.
• Prepare SOPs and monitor KPIs with overseas clients.
• Communicate with stakeholders and ensure shipment follow-up.
• Verify shipment status and documentation throughout the cycle.
• Maintain relations with overseas partners, customers, and colleagues.
• Monitor incoming communications from clients and partners.
• Assist billing and invoicing per standards.
• Support product and service improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
