Job summary

Deutsche Bank is seeking a senior risk leader to own and drive the financial risk agenda across the Trust & Securities Services (TSS) franchise, with a focus on custody and clearing. You will be the senior authority on credit, settlement and liquidity risks, guiding decisions that affect global clients and the balance sheet.

Qualifications

• Degree‑level education or equivalent experience.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA/FRM/CA/MBA are welcome but not essential.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and present clear, data‑driven risk assessments.
• Strong understanding of post‑trade processes, custody and clearing risk drivers, and client/account structures.
• Extensive experience in financial risk management within a banking environment, with senior accountability for credit, settlement or liquidity risk.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the financial risk agenda across the TSS Custody & Clearing franchise.
• Senior authority on credit, settlement and liquidity risks and influence decisions affecting global clients and balance sheet.
• Monitor and mitigate risk in real time with risk analytics and insights into client structures.
• Lead risk capability, mentor talent and partner with Sales, RTM, Operations, Legal, Treasury and Credit.
• Shape risk frameworks, policies and metrics to support monitoring and informed decisions.
• Oversee client credit risk including limit setting and exposure analysis.
• Provide senior risk input into new business and complex transactions.
• Coach and mentor junior team members to strengthen risk capability.
