Job summary

Evans in Calgary, AB seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead on-site delivery of commercial projects globally, focusing on margin and on-time completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, trades, and interface with stakeholders across multiple markets.

The role requires a post-secondary degree in Construction Science, Architecture, or related field, with at least 5 years of PM experience in commercial construction, and willingness to travel. Office-based with some travel.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of construction management and on-site project management.
• Ability to interpret design/construction documentation and drawings.
• Proficient with MS Project and MS Office.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction PM experience.

Responsibilities

• On-site general contract management, including installation activities.
• Develop and manage project budgets and scope changes.
• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Evaluate and vet all subcontractors bidding on projects.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, engineers, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare project schedules- ensuring milestones are clearly defined, tracked and communicated to all stakeholders.
