Job summary

Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is seeking a Global Reporting & Consolidations Consultant to support global financial consolidation, reporting and analysis. This contract is up to 3 months and requires 5 days in the office.

You will lead monthly consolidations, support budgeting, and enhance financial and management reporting while coordinating with multiple locations and senior management.

Qualifications

• CPA (audit-trained) with 3–5 years global accounting, reporting or consolidation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP/ASPE and IFRS; exposure to foreign GAAP is a plus.
• Global experience in financial consolidation and management reporting; OneStream experience is a plus.

• Lead monthly consolidation of global financial results and provide analysis at consolidated, location and account levels.
• Support the 2027 budget and business plan consolidation.
• Prepare and enhance financial and management reporting.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with Canadian GAAP.
• Reconcile Canadian GAAP with U.S., PRC and other foreign GAAP as required.
• Prepare supporting documentation for tax and other financial requirements.
• Partner with accounting teams across multiple locations and senior management to resolve reporting issues and provide meaningful financial insights.

This is an excellent opportunity for an audit firm-trained CPA with strong technical accounting experience and exposure to Canadian and international manufacturing reporting environments. This contract is up to 3 months and requires 5-days in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly consolidation of global financial results and provide analysis at consolidated, location and account levels.
• Support the 2027 budget and business plan consolidation.
• Prepare and enhance financial and management reporting.

• Strong Excel and overall technology skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple locations and with senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized, self-directed and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage competing priorities.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
