Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services seeks a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting & Consolidation for a 6-month contract in Mississauga. You will lead daily consolidation and reporting across a complex multi-entity setup, including multi-currency and multi-region operations, while guiding a small distributed team.

The role requires CPA, strong consolidation/FP&A skills, and clear executive-level communication. You will support a system transition and assist on a finance systems implementation as needed.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• Strong hands-on consolidation and financial reporting experience.
• Experience in complex multi-currency, multinational, multi-region environments.
• Understanding of wholly owned and joint venture structures.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal onboarding and supervision.
• Excellent communication for executive audiences.
• FP&A experience, especially variance analysis and executive reporting.

• Lead day-to-day consolidation and financial reporting activities.
• Support a complex multi-entity environment involving multi-currency, multinational, and multi-region operations.
• Manage and analyze large-volume consolidations across numerous inputs and reporting structures.
• Prepare variance analysis and executive-level financial reporting materials.
• Develop materials for senior leadership, including board and committee reporting decks.
• Provide day-to-day oversight to two direct reports in a distributed team structure.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to maintain continuity during a systems transition.
• Provide limited support to a finance systems implementation project as needed.

Requirements

• CPA designated profile.
• Strong hands-on experience in consolidation and financial reporting.
• Experience working in complex multi-currency, multinational, and multi-region environments.
• Understanding of both wholly owned and joint venture structures.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal onboarding and supervision.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare polished materials for executive audiences.
• Experience with OneStream, IBM TM1 would be considered a strong Asset.
• FP&A experience, especially variance analysis and executive reporting.

Pay Rate

$50.00/ Hour

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
