Pharmaceutical Company in Mississauga seeks an experienced Global Clinical Distribution Lead to manage end-to-end distribution for a portfolio of global clinical trials. You will ensure clinical inventory is available at the right place and time by coordinating release, depot delivery and site supply with cross-functional teams.

You will work with Clinical Supply, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, and external providers to optimize performance, address issues, and support global distribution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience in clinical trial management, clinical supply, logistics, or supply chain is required.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences environment is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of clinical supply, logistics, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage on-time delivery performance for clinical shipments across the global network.
  • Coordinate clinical inventory deployment, depot supply, shipments, and material movement.
  • Partner with Clinical Demand & Supply Leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure supply availability.
  • Participate in PETs, gSETs, and distribution-related meetings.
  • Identify and resolve operational, logistics, and system issues affecting delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external logistics providers, suppliers, warehouses, and depots.
  • Support global distribution projects, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Maintain high accuracy in SAP/ERP and clinical supply systems; troubleshoot as needed.
  • Work within GMP/GxP-compliant environments and follow quality procedures.
  • Support quality events, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls as applicable.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Global Clinical Distribution Lead to support the end-to-end distribution activities for a portfolio of global clinical trials.

This role will be responsible for ensuring clinical inventory is available at the right place and at the right time by coordinating distribution activities from product release through depot delivery and supporting clinical site supply. You will work closely with Clinical Supply, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, external providers, and cross-functional study teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage on-time delivery performance for clinical supply shipments across the global distribution network.
  • Coordinate clinical inventory deployment, depot supply, shipments, and material movement.
  • Partner with Clinical Demand & Supply Leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure supply availability.
  • Participate in Protocol Execution Teams (PETs), Global Supply Execution Teams (gSETs), and distribution-related meetings.
  • Identify and resolve operational, logistics, and system issues impacting delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external logistics providers, suppliers, warehouses, and depots.
  • Support global distribution projects, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Maintain high accuracy in SAP/ERP and clinical supply systems, including troubleshooting and first/second-level diagnostics.
  • Work within GMP/GxP-compliant environments and follow applicable quality procedures.
  • Support quality events, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls as applicable.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in clinical trial management, clinical supply, logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain.
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical supply, logistics, distribution, inventory, or material management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve complex operational issues independently.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with global clinical supply/distribution networks and depot operations.
  • APICS and/or SCOR certification.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence training.
  • Experience with clinical supply management systems such as CLARA is a plus.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional, or global organizations.
Work Location

This position requires the selected candidate to work from the Mississauga campus a minimum of 3 days per week.
