Job description

At PwC, our cybersecurity team focuses on protecting organizations from cyber threats using advanced technologies and strategies. They identify vulnerabilities, develop secure systems, and provide proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive data. Those in information security at PwC work to protect data and systems through risk assessments, security audits, and implementing robust security measures, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets for clients.

Risk Managers communicate risk assessment outcomes effectively, support ideation activities, facilitate meetings, and gather information from various teams. They also review tickets for inconsistencies, manage ERV calls, collaborate with Risk Reviewers to define review approaches, maintain dashboards, report on metrics, and act on pending items promptly. They assist in creating issues and mitigation plans, track ticket progress, and manage interactions with other NIS teams. They present problems as opportunities and escalate issues when necessary.

Meaningful work you'll be part of

As a Global Application Security Risk Manager, you'll work with a team of problem solvers to address business issues, deliver high-quality client service, and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:

  1. Review tickets for inconsistencies and talking points before ERV calls and initial customer conversations.
  2. Validate tickets, associated tasks, SDD information, and manage ERV calls.
  3. Collaborate with Risk Reviewers to understand questionable items and define review approaches.
  4. Review previous tickets, including upstream and downstream relationships, and discuss inconsistencies.
  5. Maintain a dashboard of ticket statuses and report on metrics upon request.
  6. Participate in team calls and ideation exercises, communicating effectively with seniors and stakeholders.
  7. Review related CRS and SRT tasks and manage calls when needed.
  8. Assist with creating issues and mitigation plans.
  9. Track ticket progress and coordinate with NIS teams such as Global Workspace, m365, Third Party Risk Mgmt., Splunk, and others.
