Vaco by Highspring is seeking a seasoned senior accounting leader to oversee international accounting operations and drive IFRS compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The head will guide the finance team, collaborate with FP&A, and manage the external audit process.

The role requires CPA/CA designation, strong IFRS expertise, 7–10 years of leadership experience, and excellent communication skills. Location is within the Greater Toronto Area, with permanent employment.

• Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development for the accounting team.

• Direct preparation and consolidation of IFRS financial statements across international entities.
• Strengthen financial governance with internal controls and risk monitoring.
• Lead accounting policy work and coordinate with external auditors.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting operations and close processes.
• Ensure IFRS, SOX compliance across jurisdictions.
• Oversee treasury functions including cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.
• Manage international tax filings with external advisors.
• Champion enhancement of accounting platforms and systems.
• Lead annual external audit with auditors and stakeholders.
