Job summary

ONxpress Civils in Ontario is seeking a GIS professional to design and deploy geospatial solutions for the GO Expansion project. You will collaborate with BIM and GIS teams to implement advanced spatial analyses and deliver maps, 3D scenes, and GIS datasets to support project decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years of Esri GIS experience, ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise/Online proficiency, and good data quality practices.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience with Esri GIS applications (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online).
• Proficient in creating, managing, editing, mapping, and analyzing spatial data.
• Strong data quality control and organization standards.
• Familiarity with CAD/BIM formats (DWG, DGN, RVT).

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy geospatial solutions for the GO Expansion project.
• Plan and execute advanced spatial analyses.
• Develop web GIS apps using Esri tools within ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Maintain GIS datasets to support project decisions.
• Produce maps, 3D scenes, and databases for project needs.
• Support the development of a 3D digital twin.
• Travel to project sites in Ontario up to 20%.
