Job summary

SYSTRA Canada is seeking two GIS Technicians to support the Go Expansion Program. You will create and maintain GIS datasets, automate workflows, and ensure data quality using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and related tools.

You will collaborate with GIS Specialists, configure dashboards, support field data collection, and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards. This is an on-site Canada-based role with a focus on transportation infrastructure data management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Experience creating and maintaining GIS datasets and web maps.
• Familiar with Jira for task tracking.

Responsibilities

• Perform GIS data creation, editing, maintenance, validation, and quality control using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Create and maintain GIS datasets, feature classes, feature services, web maps, and related spatial information.
• Execute established GIS workflows for data conversion, geoprocessing, spatial analysis, and map production.
• Assist with configuration and maintenance of ArcGIS Dashboards, Experience Builder applications, web maps, and field applications.
• Perform data quality checks and identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and data anomalies.
• Support GIS data migration, schema validation, data preparation, and data loading activities.
• Assist GIS Specialists with spatial analysis, application development, testing, automation, and technical investigations.
• Support field-data collection workflows using ArcGIS Field Maps, Survey123, and QuickCapture.
• Maintain GIS metadata, documentation, data dictionaries, and technical records. Provide first-level GIS technical support and troubleshooting to business and operational users.
• Track assigned GIS tasks, issues, and deliverables using Jira.
• Follow established GIS standards, governance procedures, security requirements, and QA/QC processes.
