Job summary

City of Regina is seeking a GIS/CAD Technician to maintain and support GIS and CAD data, perform quality control, and produce map outputs for internal and external users. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and adherence to SOPs within the Geospatial Solutions group.

The position supports Infrastructure Records and Mapping Services, offering opportunities to develop skills in GIS/CAD, data management, and geospatial analysis while working with municipal teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in GIS, CAD, Geomatics or related field.
• Eligibility for SASTT registration preferred.
• Minimum one year experience with GIS or CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and support GIS and CAD data.
• Perform quality control to ensure data accuracy.
• Create standard maps and basic geospatial analyses.
• Assist with CAD/GIS workflows and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
