Job summary

City of Regina's Geospatial Solutions team is seeking a detail-oriented GIS/CAD technician to help keep infrastructure records accurate, accessible, and up to date.

You will maintain GIS and CAD data, perform mapping, quality control, and basic spatial analysis while serving City teams, external partners, and the public.

Qualifications

• Two year diploma in GIS, CAD, Geomatics, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience using GIS and/or CAD software.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate spatial data and mapping records.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GIS and CAD data and mapping records for infrastructure.
• Perform quality control on spatial data and mapping products.
• Carry out basic spatial analysis and data visualization tasks.
• Provide mapping services to City teams, external partners, and the public.
