Job Description

We are seeking a Solution Engineering Manager (SEM) to join our team in Montreal. The SEM is the technical leader for bid and project engineering, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure successful delivery of engineering solutions aligned with project objectives.

The SEM manages the engineering team to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals. During the bid phase, they oversee technical deliverables, consolidate engineering estimates, and ensure design consistency with the endorsed technical solution. In the project phase, they lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts, resolve issues, and oversee delivery activities, including gate reviews.

Key responsibilities include managing technical milestones, ensuring design and estimate coherence, supporting client interface, and leading engineering planning and execution throughout project lifecycle.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma
• Strong communication skills in English
• Over 5 years' experience in signaling system projects
• Leadership experience in multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Proven skills in client communication and technical management
• Experience in personnel management and work package management
• Bid process experience
• Experience with safety-critical system design and CENELEC standards

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or IPMA certification
• Engineering degree
