Job summary

A senior living community is seeking an Occupational Therapist to implement individualized programs that help Residents maintain independence and manage pain. The role includes assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. A degree in occupational therapy and two years of experience working with the elderly are required. The position demands excellent communication skills and teamwork to ensure quality care. Physical demands include extended periods of standing and lifting up to 50lbs.

Qualifications

• Two years recent related experience, preferably with the elderly.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement individual goal-based programs to assist Residents.
• Develop and coordinate individual care plans including adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate treatment programs and revise care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support Residents’ choices.
