Job summary

Fraser Health Authority in British Columbia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join an interdisciplinary team delivering resident-centered care. You will assess, plan, implement and monitor OT interventions to maximize function and safety for geriatric residents.

As part of a dynamic team, you will supervise staff and students, contribute to quality improvement and engage with caregivers and residents to promote independence and well-being within Fraser Health facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
• Two years' recent acute or community geriatric experience or equivalent.
• Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT assessments, consultations and interventions to maximize physical function.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and progress care plans.
• Provide supervision and education to staff, students and volunteers.
