Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (Full-Time – Independent Contractor) to provide advanced primary care for long-term care residents across Ontario. Responsibilities

• Orders investigations and interprets results with evidence-based reasoning
• Collaborates with residents and families to develop person-centred care plans
• Engages in education and mentoring of learners and staff
• Supports quality improvement and research initiatives
• Time allocation: 80% direct resident care, 20% research/education
