Compass Group Canada is seeking a Registered Dietitian to support the Food and Nutrition Services Department in Ontario. You will assist the Manager to ensure the effective overall functioning of the department and support residents’ nutritional needs.

You will approve menus, develop recipes, perform nutritional assessments and plan therapeutic diets, while ensuring compliance with long-term care legislation and food service standards.

Competenze

• Must be currently registered with the College of Dietitians.
• Experience in geriatric nutrition in long-term care.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage budgets.
• Strong communication, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of government legislation in long-term care.

Mansioni

• Approve menus and assist in recipe development.
• Perform nutritional assessments and care plans for residents.
• Plan therapeutic diets and monitor dietary restrictions.
• Maintain summaries of visits and assessments.
• Develop cycle menus if needed.
• Monitor resident satisfaction with services.
• Assist with compliance and development of efficient systems in Food and Nutrition Services.
• Complete required nutrition and food service audits.
• Advise the Food Service Manager.
