Job summary

Baptist Housing's Evergreen Community in White Rock, BC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary full-time day line. You will lead the care team, develop personalized care plans, assess residents’ needs, administer medications, and facilitate patient transfers at the seaside community located at 1550 Oxford Street.

The role runs through February 26, 2027, with coverage provided in a warm, supportive environment focused on person-centered care and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an RN with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Minimum of one year of experience in geriatric, palliative, or complex care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word and electronic health records; CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care based on resident needs.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Advocate for residents’ well-being with a person-centered approach.
• Supervise and mentor care staff, promoting teamwork.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and use EHR effectively.
• Contribute to a positive and respectful workplace culture.
