Job summary

The Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary part-time position in British Columbia. You will provide nursing care to residents, conduct assessments, and participate in care planning and conferences. This role requires strong teamwork, documentation accuracy, and adherence to the BCNU collective agreement.

Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Start: October 1, 2026; End: May 9, 2028. Wages and benefits align with BCNU collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with BCCNM.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate.
• Competent in electronic documentation and EMar.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Proof of Vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Resident admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Resident assessments and care planning.
• Administration of medications, treatments and wound care.
• Proficient with electronic documentation (PointClickCare) and MDS Assessments.
• Liaises with physicians, families and other staff.
• Delegates tasks to unregulated care providers.
• Charge Nurse responsibilities: participates in Care Conferences and Medication reviews.

• Rotation: Two (2) Days on, Four (4) Days Off
• Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Start Date: October 1, 2026
• End Date: May 9, 2028

Compensation: Wages and benefits are provided in accordance with the applicable BCNU Collective Agreement.
