Candidates should have a Technical Diploma in relevant fields and experience in geotechnical testing. Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience including mine driving is considered an asset.
Professional designation with ASET or ASTTBC is considered an asset.
Prior experience working in Northern Canada is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
Complete operations maintenance and surveillance monitoring tasks.
Monitor geotechnical parameters and ensure quality control.
Complete advanced soil sampling and compaction testing.
Skills
Geotechnical material testing
Standard First Aid Level C with AED
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work in extreme weather
Ability to read design drawings
Education
Post-Secondary Technical Diploma in geological, geotechnical, civil or mining disciplines
