Job summary

A leading engineering company in Calgary is seeking an experienced Mining/Civil Field Technologist to join its team. This role involves completing maintenance tasks and monitoring operations at mine sites. Candidates should have a Technical Diploma, relevant experience, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Professional designation with ASET or ASTTBC is considered an asset.
• Prior experience working in Northern Canada is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Complete operations maintenance tasks for earthen structures at mine sites.
• Monitor geotechnical parameters and perform quality control.
• Report on technical construction monitoring observations and results.

Skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to work in all weather conditions

Standard First Aid Level C with AED

Geotechnical material testing knowledge

Understanding of radiation safety

Education

Post-Secondary Technical Diploma in geological, geotechnical, civil or mining disciplines
