Job summary
A leading engineering firm is seeking an Intermediate Mining/Civil Field Technologist in Calgary, Alberta. The role involves executing field operations maintenance and monitoring tasks at mine sites and civil projects, requiring experience in geotechnical conditions and compliance with safety regulations. The candidate will work primarily in the field, sometimes rotating to the office, and must be adaptable to extreme weather conditions. The position requires a post-secondary diploma and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with additional qualifications preferred.
Qualifications
5+ years of industry experience preferred.
Professional designation with ASET or ASTTBC is an asset.
Prior experience working in Northern Canada is beneficial.
Responsibilities
Complete operations maintenance and surveillance monitoring tasks.
Monitor geotechnical parameters for quality control.
Diagnose technical issues and ensure safety protocols.
