Job summary

Subsurface Geotech & Environmental in Toronto, ON is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Technician/Associate for a full-time, on-site role. Responsibilities include supporting geotechnical field investigations, assisting with deep foundation testing, and collecting and organizing site data for analysis and reporting.

You will operate and maintain test equipment, help prepare technical documentation, and communicate findings to engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret field data and support technical reporting.
• Effective communication abilities for collaboration with engineers and field staff.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and ability to perform basic repairs on instrumentation.
• Proficiency with test equipment used in geotechnical/environmental investigations including setup and calibration.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in civil engineering technology, geotechnical or environmental field.
• Ability to work safely in outdoor construction environments and travel to job sites.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
