Stantec in Winnipeg is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer starting your career with a team of professionals dedicated to improving the local community through geotechnical projects, field investigations, lab testing, and design work. You’ll collaborate with 17 engineers and EITs and be supported by a broader team of over 200 geotechnical staff across western Canada.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with geotechnical exposure.
• Previous geotechnical experience in a similar role.
• Registration as Professional Engineer with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM).

Aufgaben

• Coordinate/perform field programs and prepare proposals, technical deliverables, calculations, reports, specifications and drawings.
• Lead geotechnical investigations, analyses, report writing and contract administration.
• Oversee field and office geotechnical assignments and mentor early career staff.
• Schedule, scope, budget and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Actively participate in risk management and quality procedures.
• Lead by example for Stantec’s Health and Safety Framework.
• Build collaborative relationships within Stantec.
