Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to support and supervise geotechnical investigations across Ontario.

You will work with intermediate and senior engineers to deliver high-quality technical work and gain hands-on experience on a range of project types. You will contribute to bearing capacity, settlement, and slope stability analyses, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical solutions for public and private sector clients in the GTA West

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's considered an asset).
• 1-3 years of post-degree experience in geotechnical consulting.
• Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with PEO.
• Sense of initiative, attention to detail, and team spirit.
• Strong technical writing, interpersonal communication, and emotional intelligence.
• Commitment to safe work practices for yourself and colleagues.
• Willingness to work outside the office and on project sites as required.
• Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise geotechnical investigations including test pitting, borehole drilling, and in‑situ testing.
• Coordinate geotechnical investigation and laboratory testing.
• Complete geotechnical analyses such as bearing capacity, settlement, and slope stability under supervision.
• Provide technical support on geotechnical projects, including field investigations and lab interpretations.
• Assist senior team members in preparing geotechnical studies, proposals, and reports for low to medium complexity projects.
• Participate in and promote a safety-first culture.
