Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Ontario. The role involves leading geotechnical site investigations and analyses across infrastructure, energy, and resource projects.

You will prepare reports, assist with budgeting and scheduling, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients. Travel within Canada and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering.
• Eligible for Professional Engineer registration in a Canadian province.
• Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation design.
• Willingness to travel for field assignments within Canada and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute geotechnical and hydrogeological site investigations.
• Perform engineering analyses related to slope stability, foundations, and earthworks.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Support construction oversight and quality assurance activities.
