Job summary

CANADIAN ROYALTIES INC. is seeking a Core Shack Helper for work in Nunavik. The position is permanent and reserved for Nunavik Inuit Beneficiary of the JBNQA, with a 4-week rotation: 2 weeks on (77 hours/week) and 2 weeks off.

Reporting to the Exploration Geologist, you will assist in day-to-day tasks and core handling to ensure efficient exploration activities. Responsibilities include sawing drill cores, receiving boxes, and supporting field logistics and project geologists.

Qualifications

• Be in good physical shape and able to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Possession of a valid driver's license (territorial accepted).
• Interest in geology and mining exploration.

Responsibilities

• Assist the geologists in their day-to-day tasks.
• Assist in the management of the core shack.
• Sawing drill core samples.
• Receiving and storing boxes of cores.
• Assist in the handling of core boxes, rejects and pulps and other materials.
• Assist logistics planner with field work.
• Perform any other tasks that the project geologist or senior technician deems necessary to ensure the efficiency and quality of exploration activities.
