Canadian Natural Resources Limited is seeking a GIS student intern for a 12-month term in Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will create and maintain ArcGIS maps and web apps, support Field Maps and Survey123, and assist with data processing and regulatory reporting.
You will split time between field locations and office environments, applying your GIS education to real environmental challenges while gaining hands-on experience with ESRI tools and data workflows.

Canadian Natural’s Oil Sands Sites are world class operations, offering countless opportunities to advance your environmental career in an atmosphere where teamwork, innovation, and your expertise are valued. In this position, you will assist with providing full-cycle support to projects within FieldMaps and Survey123 for ArcGIS. You will help build and maintain innovative models and GIS solutions for unique environmental situations and provide GIS support for regulatory compliance reports, including data editing, data management, and cartography.
Students should be aware that work will be 20% in field locations and 80% in office environments.
