Job summary

Genesis Maple, part of Zanchin Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join the Team. You will provide frontline customer communications and service for the department, selling required maintenance and explaining costs.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in service advisory or related sales, and comfort with ERP (CDK/Reynolds) and CRM systems. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, tools, ongoing training, and opportunities for career advancement within the group.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
• Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
• proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
• proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
• ability to sell vehicle maintenance
• ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
• strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
• ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
• a desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• sell recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance
• serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
• explain nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
• advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
• schedule appointments; contact customers with vehicle repair status updates/follow-ups
• accurately prepare repair orders and invoices

About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the "we can do that" operation, this position is responsible to provide frontline customer communications and service for the department. Specifically:
