Job summary

Total Power Limited in Ontario is seeking a skilled generator field service technician to perform emergency service, maintenance, and troubleshooting at customer sites. You will test and verify electrical systems, program transfer switches, and build strong customer relationships while complying with safety standards.

Occasional travel within Ontario, after-hours on-call, and a company vehicle with select roles are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a generator field service technician.
• Power Generation Diploma or electrical certification preferred.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency service, preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and instruction for customer generators.
• Test, measure, and verify electrical component operations.
• Program, test, and connect transfer switches.
• Startup and load bank tests as required.
• Maintain customer relationships with professional communications.
