Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for executing sales objectives for both new and pre-owned vehicles while developing and implementing effective sales plans for your team. Key tasks include monitoring performance metrics, converting leads to sales, and enhancing client relationships to strengthen the dealership's market presence. You will also focus on team development, ensuring compliance with company policies, and promoting a safe work environment. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of automotive dealership sales management experience, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Execute the established short, medium, and long-term sales objectives for new and pre-owned vehicle sales.
  2. Develop and implement sales plans for your team to achieve monthly and annual goals.
  3. Contribute ideas to and participate in the development and implementation of the dealership’s marketing and advertising initiatives.
  4. Be accountable for the successful conversion of e-Leads to sales.
  5. Monitor performance metrics related to your team, including sales and customer experience metrics.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with valued clients to promote the dealership’s brand.
  7. Assist in developing and implementing strategies for growth.
  8. Curate an exceptional client experience.
  9. Develop a strong team to execute the sales strategy.
  10. Build and maintain relationships with all associates and stakeholders.
  11. Deliver financial results while ensuring compliance with policies and governance.
  12. Promote professional development within the team.
  13. Lead and champion a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring safety standards are followed.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in automotive dealership sales management.
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline is an asset.
  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of dealership accounting, budgeting, and expense management.
  • Excellent customer service and people management skills.
  • Diplomacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High integrity and reliability.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, and results-driven.
  • Experience with CRM or automotive software systems is an asset.
  • Understanding of Provincial Safety Code requirements.
