Genesis Ajax, a proud member of Drive Autogroup, is looking to hire a full-time General Sales Manager.

As the new General Sales Manager, you will inherit a talented team and the opportunity to lead with innovation and integrity. Your strategic vision and leadership will drive our sales initiatives forward, ensuring continued growth and success.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales pipeline, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategies.
  • Ensure positive guest experience is delivered throughout each stage of the sales process.
  • Manage inventory and purchase vehicles.
  • Be hands-on and involved in the daily operations, by supporting the sales team directly.
  • Review and plan monthly marketing and sales events according to the factory program & inventory supply to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly retail sales objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Train, mentor, and coach the sales team.
  • Establish performance standards and measure KPI’s.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment among the sales team.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize profitability.
Qualifications
  • Current experience as a Sales Manager in a dealership required.
  • Must have a valid OMVIC license.
  • Ability to support and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Experience with Desk It, 180, TMS, V-Auto, and CDK are definite assets.
  • Strong facilitation and leadership skills with the ability to motivate others.
