Job summary

Wonderbrands is seeking team-oriented workers at our Winnipeg facility to support bread and bakery production. You will handle picking, packing and stacking, ensuring quality as you move products to pallets on the line.

We value strong people skills, safety awareness and a collaborative mindset to keep shifts efficient. Training includes food safety policies and supports overtime and growth to leadership roles.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, sort, and package products.
  • Operate in production/packaging areas and stack boxes on pallets.
  • Inspect packages to ensure correct packaging.
  • Collaborate with production team to maintain quality.
  • Assist operators and crew with assigned duties.
  • Support sanitation efforts for equipment and area.
  • Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety policies.

Job Location:1485 Chevrier Blvd, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3T 1Y7

Wage:$18.26/hour + Night Shift Premium (if applicable)

Shift:Available to work any shift (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)

Responsibilities
  • Pick,pack,sort, andpackage fresh productsinto bags and boxes.
  • Work in production/packaging area to make andstack boxes onto pallets.
  • Inspect filled packages to ensure product is packaged according to specifications.
  • Work closely with production team members to ensure product quality.
  • Assist machine operators/mixers/oven captains and crew with other duties as assigned.
  • May assistsanitation crew in the cleanliness of production equipment and area.
  • Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • A lover of bread and baked goods!
  • You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic.
  • You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!).
  • You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
  • You digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance.
  • You are someone who listens to comprehend a situation first, asking questions to clarify your own understanding, instead of listening to be able to replyquickly.
