Job summary

McCain Foods (Canada) in Grand Falls, New Brunswick is seeking a General Operator for the Fall Harvest season. This temporary-full-time role supports the Valley Farm Team, operating farm equipment and performing maintenance in a GMP-compliant, safety-focused environment.

Applicants should have a Class 3 Truck Driver License with air brakes, the ability to operate farm machinery, and a strong attendance record. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and working long hours during harvest.

Qualifications

• Valid Truck Driver License, Class 3 with Air Brakes.
• Ability to operate farm machinery, SS Loader, and Forklift.
• Valid Pesticide License would be an asset.
• Background in Agriculture would be an asset.
• Grade 12 education or GED would be an asset.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team player with excellent attendance.
• Highly motivated and observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.
• Good safety record and demonstrated commitment to safety-first practices.

McCain Foods (Canada) is currently seeking a General Operator to join our Valley Farm Team in Grand Falls, N.B. for the Fall Harvest Season.

About The Role.

This seasonal role supports the Valley Farm Team during the Fall Harvest and includes operating farm equipment, supporting general maintenance, and following all safety and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.

Compensation Package:

Starting at $23.25 CAD hourly.
