Walmart Canada in Edmonton is seeking a Store Manager to lead store operations, drive profitable sales, and develop Associates to provide friendly, helpful service in line with company guidelines.

The role focuses on achieving sales and profit goals, budget management, pricing, merchandising, and community engagement while ensuring compliance with safety, loss prevention, and store standards. This position reports to the Store Management Team and offers growth opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Lead store management team to drive profitable sales through achievement of sales and profit goals, budget management and sales forecasts.
• Create operational plans with the Management Team, delegate to Managers and Associates, and ensure optimal store conditions, pricing and merchandising per Company policies.
• Oversee asset protection, safety controls, quality assurance, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Act as a customer ambassador, resolve customer needs and issues within guidelines to create a positive shopping experience.
• Support community initiatives and sustainability efforts, engaging with community groups and events.
• Conduct regular store meetings, communicate direction and initiatives, drive engagement and professional growth for associates.
• Enforce Company standards on merchandise handling (including restricted items) and cash controls.
