About The Role

As General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional care for residents and a positive working environment for staff. Reporting to the Director of Regional Operations, this leadership position requires a passionate individual committed to creating an inclusive, high-standard community.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the management team to meet community goals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Manage budgets, marketing strategies, and occupancy goals.
• Oversee staff hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Engage with residents and families to address concerns.
• Maintain safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in senior living or retirement home management.
• Education: College diploma or university degree in a related field is an asset.
• Skills: Leadership, communication, financial acumen, knowledge of relevant legislation, empathy for seniors, proficiency in organizational systems.

Other Requirements

• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and ability to travel within Ontario.
• Clear vulnerable sector screening and up-to-date health requirements.
