Job summary

Baptist Housing in White Rock, BC seeks a General Manager for Evergreen Care to lead day-to-day operations, clinical programs and financial performance with a focus on resident wellbeing and faith-based values.

You will oversee clinical and non-clinical teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a compassionate workplace culture that aligns with our mission and spiritual leadership commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; BSN preferred.
• Current professional registration in good standing (if applicable).
• Minimum five years’ healthcare leadership experience.
• Minimum two years’ clinical experience in seniors care or gerontology.

• Maintain compliance with professional, legal, and regulatory standards, supporting quality, accreditation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring effective coordination across all departments, building strong relationships with external partners, and contributing to strategic initiatives.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets in collaboration with senior leadership, monitor financial performance, and support risk management.
• Promote a strong culture of workplace health and safety

We are seeking a General Manager for our long-term care community in White Rock, British Columbia, Evergreen Care, to provide overall leadership and operational oversight. In this role, you will lead clinical and non-clinical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person‑centred care while fostering a culture grounded in our mission, vision, and values.

This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring excellence in resident care, team engagement, and operational performance.

About The Role

As the General Manager, you are a servant leader who brings both strategic and hands‑on leadership. You will oversee all aspects of operations, including clinical services, team leadership, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.

You will create an environment where residents are supported to live with dignity, autonomy, and purpose, while also fostering a workplace culture where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered.

This role is also a position of Christian ministry, requiring alignment with Baptist Housing’s values, Statement of Faith and a commitment to providing spiritual leadership within the community.

• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
