Job description

Our Hampton Inn & Suites Ontario is currently seeking an experienced hospitality professional to serve as General Manager and lead the property to surpass brand standards and exceed Owner expectations. As part of the property team, you will help us "craft inspired workplaces that enable all Associates to deliver kick-ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns". Position Responsibilities:
  1. Provide the highest level of customer service to guests and associates alike
  2. Identify operational performance, productivity, and efficiency gaps and implement corrective measures
  3. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports including forecasting, labor control, and revenue reports
  4. Develop the annual business plan and budget
  5. Have a thorough understanding of revenue management
  6. Focus on sales daily, weekly, and monthly, and lead the sales team to high revenue levels
  7. Monitor and execute sales action steps outlined in the marketing plan
  8. Manage cost controls to maximize profits
  9. Enforce and maintain a preventative maintenance program to protect hotel assets
Education and Experience:
  1. Minimum three years as a General Manager in a similar-sized property
  2. Experience at a premium-branded hotel required; Hilton brand preferred
  3. Previous renovation experience is a plus
  4. Knowledge of local competition and industry trends
  5. Strong leadership and professional image
  6. Excellent decision-making and analytical skills
  7. Ability to multitask daily duties
  8. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
