As a General Manager for Jack Astor’s, you will be responsible for the following:

• Collaborate with our team to uphold the highest standards in food quality, deliver outstanding guest experiences, and provide memorable service.
• Coach and lead our peeps and help to ensure they receive great training and support.
• Oversee financial operations and strive to surpass established goals through effective management.
• Live and teach Jacks’ Values and Promises.
• Use strong time management skills and attention to detail to complete our jobs.
• Spread enthusiasm and energy among all of our peeps!

Qualifications

• If you bring 3-5 years of proven restaurant management/supervisory experience in a similar environment, we want to hear from you!
• Strong communication skills are essential; proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Adaptable to using computers and quick to learn new software applications.
• Ability to manage our restaurants with a high level of attention to detail, hospitality, and fun – winning mindset and enthusiastic personality.
• You’ll be managing sales goals, inventory, cash, and other responsibilities that require good math and analytical skills.
• Previous experience with scheduling, labor and product cost control, and inventory.
• Previous experience in developing a team.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Knowledge of provincial employment legislation.
