Job summary

Greenbuilt Steel is seeking a General Manager to lead commercial growth and operational execution across Edmonton and Northern Alberta. You will run the business end-to-end in a hands-on, growth-stage environment, owning revenue, backlog, margins, and delivery performance.

This is a build-and-scale leadership role at the intersection of sales, operations, and entrepreneurship, with accountability, influence, and upside in a fast-moving, capital-ready company.

We are now looking for a General Manager who wants to help build the next chapter.

The Opportunity

As General Manager, you will lead the commercial growth and operational execution of Greenbuilt’s business across residential, commercial, and multi-family markets in Edmonton and Northern Alberta.

You will be trusted to run the business end-to-end :

• Drive revenue and backlog
• Own P&L performance
• Build operational rhythm and discipline
• Shape how the company grows, not just how it runs

You will work closely with the majority shareholder in a hands-on, well-capitalized, growth-stage environment where decisions are made quickly and results matter.

What You’ll Lead

Growth & Market Presence

• Build a repeatable sales engine and predictable project backlog
• Strengthen relationships with builders, developers, and AEC partners
• Position Greenbuilt as a preferred steel framing and building envelope partner
• Develop pricing, quoting, and margin discipline that supports scale

Operations & Delivery

• Convert sold work into reliable, high-quality project execution
• Lead shop operations, fabrication, scheduling, and logistics
• Improve throughput, reduce rework, and eliminate bottlenecks
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and site performance
• Full accountability for revenue, margins, overhead, and cash flow
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
• Oversee procurement, vendor strategy, and cost control
• Protect margins through disciplined project costing and execution

Leadership & Scale

• Build and lead a capable, accountable team
• Introduce practical systems and structure without slowing momentum
• Translate strategic direction into clear priorities and execution plans
